I got my unoa sist faceplate back from Gen today. Normally I'd be spamming you all with photos but I unfortunately don't have the wig I ordered for her over a month ago in a LeeKe group order and nothing here suites her at all. I'll post the preview pictures I got before she was shipped back to me however. I might try to take photos anyway depending on when I get the mermaid skirt and black and white one piece I ordered from Tanya Style (since I think the black dress would look perfect on her.

Jomi's original faceup

I should be sending Jomi (aeon flux of dive's seimei head) off to her shortly but I need to take pics of his old faceup since I want the same type of look for him. His current faceup is done by Sairin, and while ideally it should've never been touched.. the glue that held his eyelashes on ruined the underlashes, and the paint used on his lips were staining the resin (not to mention in a hideous color). Tried to remedy the lips myself but I just couldn't get the color I wanted right. I can use an airbrush, and it would've been easy if I got the color I wanted right the first time. The more I had to wipe it off the worse the original faceup got since the blushing, especially on the face was everywhere. Now he's lipless and everything else is still in tact for the most part but I rather not mess with him anymore. I can't find Mr. Super Clear anywhere and while I do have Mr. top coat around, it doesn't have the tooth MSC has and I really need that to work with.

I can imagine how upset some people (with the collectors mindset) could possibly be since I altered a Sairin faceup, but I'm this particular Seimei's 4th owner (that I know of), and he's not going anywhere. I probably killed his value but his head alone cost more than I paid second-hand fees for my complete L-bi and I figure I should be happy with him.

I probably won't post him in all his lipless glory until I get the after pics and do a whole comparison thing and all. I really need to get him some good permanent eyes before long. His eyewells will not hold eyes in for anything. The eyes are always constantly falling into the back of his head no matter how much putty you use. When I get some good ones they're getting hot-glued in.

Also I decided to do NaNoWriMo this year, I wanted to do it last year but it was half-way through November when I got the urge so I decided not to. I'll be writing about the characters/story behind my SD sized dolls (Ivoine my kill-u sp and Jomi), it'll be norse mythology inspired, just like most of my dolls' names and hopefully writing 1,667 words a day for the whole of next month won't kill me. This month I'm going to try to get an outline done to make things easier on myself.

Gen has definitely done it again! And in less time! ;~; Speed and Quality!

I surely didn't ask for much, which is what probably made it easier, also it was just one head this time and not two but I got the preview pictures today and I was so pleased I said something to the effect of "OMG TAKE MY SIST NEXT". Which was running through my mind earlier when I was gathering pictures of my current dolls and dolls on my wishlist and I realized yet again that very few of my dolls are "complete".

I'm going to end up sending all my dolls to Gen the way it seems now... I was on two waiting lists for faceups. One is so Ivoine (kill-u sp) would get a long overdue faceup and I'll probably keep him on that list even thought there are 10+ people ahead of me and most of them have more than 2 heads they want done (also she's twice as expensive as Gen AND living overseas in the UK) and someone else for my sist who isn't even currently working on commissions right now and I'm the 4th or so on her list.

I didn't do a formal "what I want" write-up as far as this faceup goes cause I shipped Frei off the very day I got the previews for my b-el which she did a smashing job on. I told her I wanted Frei to look more or less like Hamasaki Ayumi ( my favorite singer). With the signature dark eyeliner and very lighty colored but very glossy lips . The image I gave her to work from was the first ayu-mi-x album cover since I had noticed quite soon after I got my L-bi that he was a spitting image of her (although I did ask for it to be heavier makeup around the eyes).

Even though I wasn't specific I took a gamble and got just what I wanted and I just know it'll look better in real life just like the B-el faceplates. Oh, I can't wait :'D

So, the 3 tier preorder is like so:

• Send in postcard by first deadline (the 28th) and if there are more than 150 people who send it in, the preorder becomes a lottery.
• If you lose the first time you are automatically entered into the 2nd time, lose the 2nd time you're automatically entered into the third time.
• Since there are 150 max that will be given out each time, then there are 150+150+150 for the Dollybird 9 Unons, and 50 more if you include the Hobby Japan magazine lottery/preorder dolls (in which the winners for that will be announced on the 11th) meaning there will be 500 total Unoa Quluts Zero dolls in the world till whenever the next preorder comes to be.

My postcard is being mailed off tomorrow. But I have no idea how much buzz this doll is getting in Japan. Also since its a lottery Crescent Shop will not be handling it and only people who live in Japan or know someone trustworthy in Japan will have a chance. I wonder how many people there are who want one, and have the money for it, and have the connections/means to order one.

The postcard is not in simple Japanese. It asks questions. Basic things such as "what 3 articles did you like the most", "what kind of doll requests do you have for us?" and if you have any opinions on the magazine, and the spaces are big  enough for a few sentences so I wouldn't take my chances on leaving them blank. I really had to make up some things for Reiji to fill in (which he has to translate to Japanese and then write it onto the postcard), but at least I'll definitely get my card in before the deadline. So I have 3 chances to win, and I'm done saving, and thats all I can really be confident about for now!

I finally got around to doing the "what-I-want-Frei's-faceup-to-look-like" private message to Gen. Usually I do some long formal write-up but I just haven't felt up to it and I only have a vague idea of what I want anyway. "Dark dramatic eyes and light colored lip" is just about it. I did have picture examples but really.. I didn't really ask for much. My B-el face plates should be here by Tuesday by my calculations.. if not then definitely before Friday. I'm not really ready in terms of eyes and wigs but I'm still excited all the same.
